This year has seen a slew of great films hit theaters, and in my opinion, riding high on the top of that shortlist is Annihilation.
Directed by Ex Machina filmmaker Alex Garland, Annihilation is a strange and twisted beast that’s also one of the best alien movies on Netflix in the UK right now. Forget your standard potboiler thrillers. Garland melds together several genres and ignores straightforward plotting in favour of a unique cinematic experience that has to be seen to be believed. Seriously, reading a synopsis won’t cut it.
Lucky for us all, Annihilation is now available to buy on 4K, Blu-ray, and DVD. If you haven’t yet seen it, I highly recommend picking it up.
